Wilma McIntyre was born in Lamar, Kansas, daughter of Omer and Ethel Dorman, on December 13, 1913. She died April 30, 2013 at the age of 99. She married John McIntyre on July 31, 1932. Her husband John was a road construction worker and they lived in many places in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, and Montana. They moved to Roseburg, Oregon in 1951 where he followed road construction from Roseburg to the California border. They then settled in Ashland, Oregon. John died in 1986 and Wilma moved to Talent, Oregon and resided there until December of 2012. She was in a car wreck on December 9, 2012 and then moved to Twin Falls, Idaho to be near her daughter. She was in and out of the hospital until her death on April 30. She was living at Birchwood Estates when she passed away. Wilma loved people and planned many parties for her family and church friends. She was very active in her church and held many positions. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her. Wilma is survived by her daughter, Joanne Hills of Twin Falls, Idaho, a son, Lewis McIntyre of Corvallis, Oregon, and a sister, Lois Bain of Pocatello, Idaho and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Monday, May 6, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1231 Washington St. N., Twin Falls. A viewing will be held from 11am to 1pm the day of the services at the church. Burial will be in Ashland, Oregon. Services are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
