Vason Lee Widaman, 15 of Twin Falls passed away on Saturday May 7, 2016. Vason was born on September 12, 2000 in Twin Falls. Vason was completing his Freshman Year at Canyon Ridge High School. He enjoyed playing games on the internet, the Oregon Coast, going garage selling and traveling with his family. Vason was very proud to have earned his black belt in Taekwondo. He also enjoyed playing baseball and football in his younger years. He was an excellent swimmer. He enjoyed animals in general, especially his guinea pigs Nip & Tuck and the family dog Jake. Vason always loved to go garage selling, walking and shopping with his grandmother. “I will miss my Buddy”, Grandma. Vason touched many lives in his fifteen years with us. Vason is survived by his grandparents Alan and Lynn Widaman of Twin Falls; his mother Shari Widaman of Pocatello; aunt Lori (Jeff) Neumann of Helena, Montana; cousins Sarah, Kimberly, Emily Neumann all of Helena, Montana and by his uncle Todd Widaman of Twin Falls. He is also survived by his special “Adopted” grandparents Tom & Wilma Llewellyn of Roseburg, Oregon. Vason is preceded in death by his great grandparents Vernon & Margaret Mears of California and great grandparents Merrill & Grace Widaman of California. A gathering of friends will be held on Friday May 13, 2016 from 1-5pm at the Widaman’s residence, 727 Rimview Ln W, Twin Falls. Family will be available during that time to meet friends. In lieu of flowers there are two special places that meant a lot to Vason in his life, the Twin Falls Animal Shelter & the Twin Falls YMCA. Vason attended the summer program at the YMCA for 4 years and was a member of the YMCA upon his passing. The YMCA is trying to raise money to install their children’s outside play equipment.
