Thomas Eugene Couch

Thomas "Tom" Eugene Couch 69, of Twin Falls passed away on Monday April 10, 2017 at his home. Tom was born on September 4, 1947 in Wendell, Idaho the son of Robert and Berniece Couch. He grew up in Jerome and graduated from Jerome High School in 1966. During High School he played baseball and was on the American Legion Team. He also played basketball and liked working at his Uncle Junior's body shop in his spare time. After high School Tom joined the US Navy where he became an aircraft mechanic and was a part of the Navy skeet shooting team. After he was discharged from the Navy he moved back to Jerome to attend school at CSI where he met Lois Warren, the love of his life. They were married on July 29, 1972. The family moved to Pocatello for a few years and where they added two children to the family Erica and William. In the early 80's Tom moved his family to Arizona where Tom built furniture with Lois by his side in Flagstaff and Phoenix over the next ten years. In 1992 Tom and Lois decided to move back to Idaho to be closer to family and decided to settle in Twin Falls where they opened a furniture store building custom furniture. Tom loved hunting, fishing and shooting skeet. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Tom is survived by his wife Lois; daughter Erica (Steve) Hopkins; son William (Tiff) Couch; four grandchildren Dorian, Tristan, Hana and Ella. He is also survived by his mother Berniece Couch. A memorial service will be held on Friday April 14, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave E. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
