Teddy “Ted” Burrell Tiffany died October 14, 2023 at the age of 93 from natural causes. Ted was born August 13th, 1930, in Twin Falls to Erma and Jack Tiffany. Ted was the second of four children. He was raised with his three siblings, Clyde Tiffany, Virginia Morgan and Ramona Reed. As a child Ted’s family moved around a bit. The Tiffany Family moved from Deep Creek in Buhl, to Evanston, WY and Contact, NV before settling into a home in Rogerson, in 1943. Ted lived in Rogerson from the time he was a 13-year-old young man until he was 93. In early years Ted attended school in Hollister. He began working on the Railroad, performing miscellaneous tasks at the age of 14, he would go on to work for the Union Pacific Railroad until retiring at the age of 57. Ted met a young Edna Grantham at a public dance in Crane Oregon in 1952, he was 22. Edna states that at that dance Ted was the only person there she did not know; little did she know at that time that she and Ted would go on to be married two years later. They were wed in Reno, NV on September 11, 1954. Ted and Edna went on to have four children of their own, Rodger Tiffany, Larry Tiffany, Theresa Taylor, and Tina Tiffany. While Ted worked for the railroad the family often traveled with him. But no matter where the job took them, they always kept the family home in Rogerson. Ted would later go on to see his grandchildren and great-grandchildren enjoying the spacious outdoors and beautiful gardens of this family home. Ted had many hobbies throughout his life. These included any activity in the outdoors, gardening, and model airplanes. Anyone who ever knew Ted knows that he was an avid outdoorsman. There wasn’t a stream he would not fish, or a mountain he would not climb. Ted would go on to instill this same passion for the outdoors in both of his sons. Together they shared many wall tents and memories that shall not be forgotten. Ted was not only an avid hunter and fisherman, he was also a skilled taxidermist. His family home is filled with birds, fish, predators and prey alike; all of which he caught and taxidermized. Ted instilled the love of flower gardening and to enjoy the beauty of nature in both of his daughters. Ted is survived by his wife Edna, three of their children, Rodger, Theresa, and Tina, his granddaughters Tiffany, Danielle, Brianna, and Jennifer and their children. Ted is proceeded in death by his siblings Clyde and Virginia, his son Larry, and his granddaughter Stephanie. There will be a memorial service held in honor of Ted at a later date.
