Shirley Johsnon

Shirley Lee Johnson passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, at the age of 93. Born in 1931 in Lewiston, Idaho, she grew up on a farm—igniting a love for animals that stayed with her throughout her life. At 16, she survived polio, a testament to her indomitable spirit. In 1953, she married John T. Johnson, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and adventure until his passing in 2012. Together, they learned to fly and took great pride in earning their pilot’s licenses. Shirley was reunited in passing with her beloved husband, along with her two brothers, sister, and grandson. Shirley is survived by her two daughters, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish her memory… and pancakes.
