Shirley Lee (Taylor) Gailey, 69, of Filer, Idaho passed away on September 5, 2017 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held at Rosenau Funeral Home on September 8, 2017 at 10:00 am.
Shirley was born in Twin Falls to William Taylor and Alta Fox Taylor on July 7, 1948. She graduated from Filer High School in 1966. Shirley went on to graduate from cosmetology school in Boise in 1970. She owned her own shop, Shirley's Beauty Center, in Filer Idaho for almost 40 years.
Shirley was a Filer School Board trustee for 18 years. She was an active member of Kiwanis for over 20 years. Shirley was very involved in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a member of the Buhl Council of Catholic Women and was awarded Woman of the Year in 2011.
Shirley is preceded in death by: father, Leo Kirkland; mother, Alta Fox Taylor; brothers, Noble and Don Taylor. She is survived by: sons, Ryan (Brittany) Gailey of Twin Falls, Dewayne Lee (Kimberly) Gailey of Filer; grandchildren, Aunica Gailey, Austin Walsh and Oliver Gailey; step grandchildren, Kaylynne, Kinzey, Jennah, and Jerron Dixon; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rosenau Funeral Home.
