Sharon Ann Piercy

Sharon Piercy, age 73, passed away on March 13, 2017 at her home. Sharon's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and meeting her great grandchild, Saylor. She enjoyed working in her yard, flowers and visits with her special friends. Sharon is survived by her children, Joan (Phillip) George, Ronda (David) Van Zante, her grandchildren Heather Smith of Sioux Falls, SD; Kyle Smith of Twin Falls, ID; Michael Van Zante of Hazelton, ID; Cristofer Van Zante of Twin Falls, ID; and great granddaughter Saylor Smith of Sioux Falls, SD. One sibling Judy Newton of Harrison, AK, and by her beloved pet Tia who would not leave her side during this time. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, her parents James and Iris Choate and her brother James Choate. Per Sharon's request no services will be held. The family would like to Thanks Encompass for their compassionate hospice care and a special thank you to Shirley, Allena and Mike. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
