Sharon Diane Palmer

April 14, 1941 — March 9, 2016

Sharon Diane Palmer, 74, of Twin Falls, ID, and formerly of Casper, WY, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2016, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Sharon was born to Alvia and Viola Humberson in Casper, WY, on April 14, 1941. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1959. On October 1, 1960, she married her husband of 55 years, Dave Palmer. They were blessed with three daughters, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Sharon worked for the Employment Security Commission of Wyoming for 26 years as a group supervisor. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Casper all her life and was able to share her love of children as a Sunday School teacher for 35 years. She was very social and loved bible studies and sharing her love for Jesus. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and word search and crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and reveling in the antics of her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Diane Black, and her brother, Bill Humberson. She is survived by her husband, Dave Palmer, and her daughters, Darla Crider (Mark) of Twin Falls and Kathi Rogers (Randy) of Casper; grandchildren, Ben Harnish, Casper, Jared Crider, Twin Falls, Erich Black, Winona, MN, Jacob Crider, Twin Falls, Jeremy Harnish, Denver, CO, Sarah Zylstra, Pullman, WA, and Kadi Harnish, Gillette, WY; as well as her beloved great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, Michelle Crawford and Rachelle Harvey, and surrogate children, Jason Boatman, and Jamie Thompson and Karen Mannina. A celebration of life service for Sharon will be held on Friday March 11 at 11:00 at Rosenau funeral Home in Twin Falls. The family requests her love of life be reflected in those attending by wearing bright colors and remembering her with their fondest happy memories. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Ike Kistler Safe House. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, March 11, 2016 at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave. E, Twin Fall, ID 83301.
