Sharon Andersen, 89, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 14th.
Sharon was born in Ord, Nebraska on July 10,1935 to Victor and Frieda Siler McBeth. She became a resident of Twin Falls after moving here with her family in 1940. She married Erik Andersen in 1962, was a devoted mother to her two children, and grandmother to many dogs. Professionally, she was an educator, starting her career as a counselor at O’Leary Junior High School and spending many years as a master reading teacher in local elementary schools. Sharon is survived by her husband Erik, daughter Erin Andersen (Ericka Keil), son Scot Andersen and granddogs Torstein, The Moose, Pepita, and Maju. She was preceded in death by her sister, Corinne Stafford, and brothers Marion (Bill) and Kenneth McBeth. The family wishes to thank hospice nurse Eva Rheuby, the other nurses and caregivers of Hospice Visions, and Yvonne Flores for the comfort and care they provided her at the end of her life. A private person, there will be no services as was her wish.
