Ruby Jean Norman

Ruby Jean Norman, 98, of Twin Falls, passed away peacefully November 29th, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Cedar Springs, Missouri, the daughter of Louis and Edith Eslinger. She and her family moved to Twin Falls when she was three. She and her seven brothers and sisters attended the historic Union School and helped their father on the farm near Curry Crossing. Following graduation, she went to visit her older sister, Edna, in Salinas, CA. She met Edna’s husband’s friend, Clyde, and they married shortly thereafter on November 9, 1945. They lived in Arkansas for 8 years and then returned to Twin Falls. They lovingly welcomed two children to their home, a girl and a boy. She worked for Dr. Kramer for over 20 years until retiring in 1989. They enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, spending time with family, cooking and eating together. They were members of a local church and would attend every Sunday together, often having a meal together the same day. They enjoyed 50 years of marriage, and she was lost when Clyde passed away in 1996. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Sunset Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clyde, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by one brother, Ralph (Gloria), her son Alan, her daughter Jeanie (Fred), grandson Steve (Teresa), granddaughter Shawna (Loren), 4 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren. Services honoring Ruby will be held at Rosenau Funeral Home – 2826 Addison Ave. E. in Twin Falls, ID on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park-2296 Kimberly Road in Twin Falls at 12:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at Rosenau Funeral Home the evening before, December 13th, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
