Ronald Shane Hohnhorst

Ronald Shane Hohnhorst was born February 13, 1970, died June 20, 2024.

Shane was the son of Penny Hohnhorst (Jeff) of Challis Idaho and Ronald Wahlstrom of Twin Falls Idaho.

He Graduated from Gooding High School in 1988 and from there started his career of 32 years in the Army National Guard. Shane loved to spend his summers camping at Deer Creek with his family and friends. Always up for going on side-by-side rides, listening to music and having a cold beer. His love for music led him into doing one of his favorite things; karaoke at the Log Tavern.

Shane married Cassi Larson on April 22, 2009. Together they had five children; Kourtney (Christina) of Twin Falls, Nicholas (Audicella) of Twin Falls, Raliegh (Colby) of Homedale, Allexus of Nampa, and Jessica of Twin Falls.

Shane is survived by his mom Penny (Jeff), his wife Cassi, five children, two grandchildren, his sister Misty (Mike) and her children, brother James, and many extended family members.

Shane is preceded in death by his three dads, Courtney Hohnhorst, Ron Wahlstrom, and Mike Larson. Grandparents Grace and Gus Wahlstrom, Edward Bailey, and Deloris (Nickey) Lewis.

Services will be held on July 22, 2024 at Snake River Canyon National Cemetery, 1585 E Elm Street, Buhl ID 83316 at 12 noon.
