Roger Bernard Archuleta passed away on December 24, 2022, at St. Luke's Memorial Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho. The son of Bernardino and Roberta Archuleta, was born on October 21, 1946, in Monte Vista, Colorado.
Roger worked on his dad's farm when growing up in Olathe, Colorado. He then moved to Filer, Idaho in 1972 and lived there until his departure. Roger loved working on his old trucks and in his garage. In his younger days he even had a garden. He was a man that really enjoyed working. Roger worked for Idaho Frozen Food for many years, then went to work for Notsinger Machines in Filer, where he worked and retired from.
Roger loved all four of his daughters Venus, Aladonna, Hestia, and Tanya and his grandson Jovan Archuleta who he raised as a baby until Jovan's death on March 24, 2018. Roger's oldest daughter Tanya Valdez, lived with him until her death on September 27th, 2021.
In addition to Tanya and Jovan, he was preceded in death by his parents Bernardino and Roberta Archuleta, his brothers, Chris Archuleta, Johnny Archuleta, Anthony Archuleta, and Benjamin Victor Archuleta.
Roger is survived by his daughters, AlaDonna Archuleta from Denver, Colorado, Venus Archuleta from Filer, Idaho and Hestia Lujan from Olathe, Colorado. Brother Phil Archuleta from Olathe, Colorado, sisters Lillian Romero from Filer, Idaho, Viola Beltran fron Aloha, Oregon, Elva Duran from Burley, Idaho, Joyce Vigil from Olathe, Colorado, Gloria Dye from Buhl, Idaho bernadine Archuleta from Leona, Tennessee. He has 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Roger will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
