Robert “Brad” Baugh of Buhl died in Boise, Idaho on April 3, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was injured in a construction accident and passed soon after. Brad was born July 18, 1957 in Gooding Idaho. Brad was the son of Harry C. Baugh and Loretta Jean Mock. Brad graduated from Shoshone High School after graduation he went to trade school and began his apprenticeship as a cement mason in 1977. After completion of the program Brad began his career with Idaho Construction. One of his first jobs was working on the Perrine Bridge and Brad helped build bridges all over the western United States. While working in Salt Lake City Brad met Sally Shegrud. The couple fell in love and were married November 21, 1986 in Bountiful Utah. Brad and Sally raised two wonderful children Rainee Marie Baugh and Cade Robert Baugh. Brad started H&R Construction and Excavation in 1991. Brad was known throughout the Magic Valley for his craftsmanship, work ethic, and integrity. Brad took pride in his work and the projects he worked on will stand the test of time. Brad always stayed busy, along with his excavation business he also kept a farm, raised cattle, and added B-Line Septic services to his business. Brad was an outdoorsman. He loved to ride horses, hunt, fish and hike. Brad was a gun collector and loved to shoot. He usually drove his work truck but every once in a while you would catch him cruising in his Shelby Mustang GT-500. More than anything Brad was a family man. He made sure his family was provided for and comfortable. He was famous for telling jokes, and even performed some of them at the yearly family reunion at Bear Lake. Brad enjoyed playing with his two granddaughters and he could always keep them entertained and smiling. He was a source of strength and happiness everywhere he went, and he will be remembered with a smile by those who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Sally; his children, Rainee (Dallan Myers), and Cade. His granddaughters Zuri and Amelia. His mother; Jean McKay, and brothers, George Hoyle and William Hoyle. He is preceded in death by his father; Harry Baugh and his brother Ron Engman. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday April 11, 2014 at 4:30 pm at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave E. Twin Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Dustin Godfrey and the staff at Rosenau Funeral Home.
