Rita Carol Myers-Moss

Rita Carol Myers-Moss formerly of Eden, Idaho passed away suddenly at her home in Palatine, Illinois. She was born in Berryville, Arkansas on June 16, 1947 to Oscar Keith Myers and Anna June Herndon Myers. She moved with her family to southern Idaho in March 1956 settling in Eden, Idaho. She attended Valley High School graduating in 1966. After high school Rita moved to Fairfield, California then back to southern Idaho and to Salt Lake City, Utah. Eventually moving to Melrose Park, Illinois and buying her condo in Palatine, Illinois.

She is proceeded in death by her father and both sets of grandparents. She is survived by her mother (June Myers of Twin Falls), 1 son (Steven/Careen Kuykendall of Merced, California), 3 grandsons (Zac, Sam, and Ben of Merced, California), 1 brother (Keith Myers of Durant, Iowa), 2 sisters (Nina Ramsey and Janet Packer both of Twin Falls), 5 nieces (Xavria, Marci, Mandy, Lindi, and Krystal), 2 nephews (Shane and Blake), 6 great nieces (Morgan, Leah, Hadley, Halle, Kaylee, and Addison), 3 great nephews (Tucker, Jonah, and Will), and finally her special companion of 30 years Russell McCarthy of Palatine, Illinois.

Rita retired from the National Pizza Company accounting department in June of 2017. She was an avid reader of good books. She loved to travel and never missed a family reunion. She loved her family dearly and always thought of others. She claimed Krystal (niece) and her girls as her own.

She will be laid to rest with family in the Twin Falls Cemetery on December 10, 2019. We will miss you baby!
