Ray Loya, age 43, of Twin Falls, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at St Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center.
He was born Jan 6, 1967 in St. George, Utah to Elfido and Natalia Loya. His parents soon moved to Heyburn, ID where he attended school and later graduated from West Minico High. He was an active member of Bethel Temple Apostolic Church. His life was centered on his faith, his church, and his family. He was involved in the Sunday school bus ministry for many years and loved to work in the jail ministry giving bible studies. Ray loved people and was always kind to everyone that he came in contact with. Everyone that has met Ray will always remember him for his sense of humor. Ray loved to laugh and had a way for making others do the same.
A salesman at heart Ray worked for various car dealerships over the last 18 years. He worked for UPS for a short time and then Conagra. He was then diagnosed with cancer which he battled and won the first round. He later had a reoccurrence and due to medical complications he went home to be with the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his sons, David Anthony, Vincent, and Isaac, his mother Natalia Loya; sisters, Laura Loya, Alice (Jose) Gonzalez, and Michele (Virgino) Caldero; brothers, Catalino (Piedad) Loya, Fred Loya, Rick (Delores) Loya, Michael Loya, and Gabriel Loya: and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Elfido Loya and a nephew Isaiah Espinoza.
