Gail Lierman

Rena “Gail” Lierman, 81, of Filer, Idaho passed away on 7/24/24 of a sudden illness with her family by her side. 

 Gail was born on 3/28/43 to Raymond and Frances Montgomery. She grew up and attended schools in Filer, Idaho and worked at Asgrow Seed Company for over 40 years until her retirement.

 She married her soul mate, best friend, and love of her life, Galen Lierman, on 2/24/62 at the Clover Trinity Lutheran Church. They made their home in Filer, Idaho and together raised 3 children.

 Throughout their 61 plus years together, Mom & Dad, enjoyed the family cabin near Alturas Lake, many wonderful anniversary adventures to Mexico, annual Thanksgiving trips to Salmon to visit their dear friends Roger & Judy Rife, summer camping trips to the South Hills, annual trips to the Oregon coast, and their nightly drives together w/their dog Boo. 

 Gail is survived by her loving husband, Galen Lierman; her children Kurt Lierman, Sonya Quale (Steve), Nicole ZeBarth (Brian); her grandchildren, Ryan Quale (Alyssa), Austin Quale (Josie) , Ashley Quale (Jaren), Tanner DeBoard (Taylor) & Landon DeBoard (Micayla); great-grandchildren, Gaby, Boston, Blayke, Taelyn, Easton, Macy, & Reevie; her sister-in-law, Ramona Montgomery; sister Connie Beer (Bob); family friend Joyce Lowry; their cherished dog, Boo; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Frances Montgomery, in laws Martin and Annie Lierman; brothers David and Dennis Montgomery; and many cherished family and friends. 

 The family would like to thank the St Luke’s Comfort Care Drs and nurses, all of the family and friends for their prayers, and the ones who have been by her side these last few days of her life holding her hand, talking, sharing memories, and offering support especially Joyce, Carol, and Karri.

 At the request of Gail, there will be no public memorial service at this time. Cremation services are under the care of Rosenau Funeral Home & Crematory.
