Randy R. Lammers, 61 of Jerome passed away December 1, 2015 at Ashley Manor in Twin Falls. Randy was born January 6, 1954 in Twin Falls the son of Eddis and Arlene Lammers. He attended school in Filer and also attended the College of Southern Idaho. In 1987 he married Kris Sjotvedt. Randy worked for the Twin Falls Fire Department for 27 years before retiring due to Early-Onset Alzheimer’s. Randy was an avid hunter and fisherman and passed on the love of all outdoor sports to his kids. Randy’s grandkids called him “Pa” and they were the apple of his eye. He was involved in Ducks Unlimited where he had been a member and volunteered for 17 years. Randy served as district chairman for many Ducks Unlimited chapters. He emceed events, ran silent auctions and held benefit shoots. He also volunteered with the Boy Scouts and the MDS Fill the Boot. Randy is survived by his wife Kris Lammers of Jerome, 3 children; Levi (Bandette) Lammers, Buhl, Sara (Bryan) Henry of Jerome and Rachel (Brian) Moss of Elko, NV; 1 sister Sharon (Ed) Ritchie, The Dalles, OR, 2 brothers Rockne (Kate) Lammers, Jerome, Michael (Carrie) Lammers of Hollister as well as 6 grandchildren, Zoey, Emma, Asa, Nola, Deklan and Keegan.He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddis and Arlene Lammers, brothers, Larry and Dan Lammers and his son Caleb Lammers. Memorials services for Randy will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 10th at the Twin Falls Reformed Church with Rev. Jim O’Donnell officiating.
