Randy Duane Hansen was taken from his family unexpectedly on the 6th of October 2016. Randy was born to his loving parents, Edith and Samuel Hansen, February 5th 1953 in Preston Idaho. He was the 2nd born of 12 siblings, teaching him the beauty of family from an early age. His siblings would go on to bless him with many wonderful nieces and nephews he greatly cherished. Randy became a father in 1973 to a son named Duane Webb. In 1979 Randy met the love of his life, Peggy Lee Agee, in Montpelier Idaho. His loving and playful demeanor quickly won the heart of Peggy, and from this union, they raised 3 beautiful daughters together. The love he had for his wife and children was remarkable. The family values he has instilled in his children will be present in all generations to come. Randy truly came to life the day he became a grandfather, he had a sparkle in his eyes and a permanent smile on his face from that day forward. Randy spent his later years driving truck for Ag Express, a company he too considered to be his family. When he wasn't on the road, Randy spent his days on his family farm with Peggy where his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren often visited. It was there on his farm where he became a jack of all trades and a tinkerer of many things.
Randy is survived by his wife, Peggy Hansen; his daughters, Peggy Sue (Duke) Bryant, Polly (Don Eddings) Mejia, Penny Lewis; nine of his siblings, Janet Crandel, Sandy (Lonnie) Smith, Susan (Lyle) Goodsell, Renee (Mike) Hillyard, Gary Hansen, Denise (Todd) Turner, David (Rachel) Hansen, Kris Hansen, Penny (Jeff) Beus; his five grandchildren, his seven young great-grandchildren, and his many wonderful nieces and nephews.
