RANDALL LEIGH LINT known to most as “Randy”, 64, passed peacefully on August 20, 2023 at Twin Falls Care Center due to an extended illness. He was born May 27, 1959, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, the 4th son of Cpt Leigh Brinton Lint and Diana Lee (Torbett-Schroeder) Lint.
Randall graduated from Borah High School, Class of 1977. Randall loved acting and appeared in many productions at the Boise Little Theater and the Stage Coach Theatre in Boise. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Navy from 1977 to 1982. He reenlisted and served until he was disabled and discharged as a Petty Officer Second Class (E-5) in 1985. Randall received training in the military in advanced electronics, Polaris Electronics, and Naval Guided Missiles. While in the Navy, Randall served in Navy bases in: San Diego, CA; Groton, CT; Dam Neck, VA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Navy Recruiting Center Sioux Falls SD, Bremerton, WA, and served abord the following naval ships: USS Ashtabula; USS Wm H Standley; and the USS Ramsey. Following his Service, Randall attended Tacoma Community College and received an Associated degree in Computer Repair. Later he met and married Jaymie Louisa Lint and settled in Tacoma, WA. They had two daughters, Hunter and Heidi. They divorced 05/01/2008. Randall later settled in Boise, ID later meeting Lisa Sabin and marrying her on 06/05/09.
Randall had a distinctive sense of humor. He loved his children, his wife, and his friends. Randall was active in volunteering at the Boise Veterans Home, sharing his love for leather crafts with the disabled vets and visiting with them. He had a profound love for Navy history and the United States. He became active in the Disabled Veteran’s of America (DAV) organization and has served as the chapter president for two separate chapters. Chapter 22 (Boise) and Chapter 5 (Twin Falls). Randall and Lisa moved to Twin Falls. Randy recently came to know the Lord and became active in their Church; Whole Life Family Church Five years ago were they remained active until the time of his death Randall served as a Greeter and was active in the men’s group.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Mitchell Leigh Lint, two sisters Sherry Lee Lint, Debra Leigh Lint and a son Daniel Isaac Sabin.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Lisa Sabin (Lint) of Twin Falls, are his brothers/brothers-in-law: Stuart(Annette) Lint of Sioux Falls, SD, Lee (Delma) Lint of Birmingham, AL, Roger Bolin of Provo, UT. Sister/Sister-in-laws: Deirdre Lint of Boise, Margaret Lint of Boise. His son Samuel Sabin of Boise. His daughters: Sarah Sabin (Ki Nickelson) of Santa, ID, Hunter Lint of Boise, Heidi Lint of Boise. His grandsons: Raven Kopp of Santa, ID, Oliver Pittz of Boise, ID, Sebastian Lint of Boise ID. His granddaughters: Marley Gonzales of San Antonio, TX, Cedar Nickelson of Santa, ID and numerous nephews and nieces located throughout the United States.
