Rafael Linares Vargas,
At age 77 passed away peacefully with his wife of 57 years, holding his hand as she sang hymns to him. He took a look at her and then glanced over to the window, where he took a small breath and went to be with the Lord.
Rafael Linares was born in Numaran, Michoachan, Mexico on November 22, 1943. He was raised in Zacapu Michoacan, where he met and married Martha. Together they had seven children. Unfortunately losing the first-born Rafael II shortly after birth, but raising six children Cecilia, Rafael, Alejandra, Silvia, Ricardo, and Rosalba.
In 1970 he migrated with his family to California, where he spent most of his life. By God's grace, in October of 1996 at First Baptist Church of Long Beach, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior.
In 2003 he moved to Idaho with his family, where he enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil life. He mostly enjoyed a game night with his wife and grandchildren, always laughing and joking. Among all things he loved his grandchildren and great granddaughter’s, and they loved him even more. He is survived by his loving wife, four daughters, two sons, Twenty grandchildren, and four great-granddaughters.
