Rachik Ter-Simonyan

Rachik Ter-Simonyan, 80, of Twin Falls, ID passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the home of his daughter, Tamara Babayan. Rachik was born on July 27, 1930 in Baku, USSR. After graduating from high school he joined the Soviet Air Force. Rachik married Lyusya on April 28, 1951 in Baku. In 1996, Rachik and his wife immigrated to the United States and he became a citizen in 2005. They resided in Twin Falls, ID until his death. He loved life and all of its pleasures. His hobbies were fishing, driving, and being outdoors. Rachik was a member of the Armenian Orthodox church. He is survived by his wife, Lyusya; 3 children, Zhasmen, Tamara, and Sergey; 5 grandchildren, Arman, Armine, Aram, Liyah, and Elona and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Rachik will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Rosenau Funeral Home with burial to follow at Twin Falls Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 13 from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
