Rachel Leah Dalesandro, 42, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away on November 9, 2024 after tirelessly battling an illness. Born on February 1, 1982 to John and Becky Spafford and spent her early years in Pocatello, Idaho. Then moved in 1988 to Twin Falls, Idaho and attended Perrine Elementary, Robert Stuart Jr High and Twin Falls High School before advancing her studies at the College of Southern Idaho and Idaho State University. Rachel’s career was rooted in the community, beginning with working at the local hospital childcare center, then at Fred Meyers Grocery and later transitioning to Smiths Grocers, where she was known for her free spirit and kind-hearted nature. A loving and devoted mother, Rachel cherished her roles in life, especially that of a parent. Her hobbies included listening to music, crocheting, pokemon go, watching the Green Bay Packers and painting rocks. She also loved playing scratch off lottery tickets. Known for her free-spirited personality, she was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying the very essence of generosity and kindness. Rachel leaves behind her husband of 16 years, David Dalesandro; children, Theodore James and Caryassa Larie Dalesandro; mother, Becky Spafford; and sisters, Sarah Spafford, Joylyn Lau and Hannah Spafford. She also leaves many other loving family members and friends. Rachel was preceded in death by her father, John Spafford, her grandparents, James and Virginia Spafford, Jane Slane, and Roland Moore.
