Patricia Carroll

Patricia was born August 13, 1932 in Appleton, Colorado, to Rex and Connie Rankin. She graduated from Grand Junction High School and attended Mesa College. She married the love of her life, Norman Carroll on February 4, 1951. They were blessed with 3 children; Daniel, Conni, and Tim. They lived in Pueblo, Colorado, moved to Twin Falls, Idaho in 1958, to Jerome in 1965, then after 37 years they returned to Twin Falls.

Norm and Pat learned to play golf when Norm retired, joined the Jerome Golf Course and had many happy times playing golf together. Her other hobbies were playing Bridge, (she attended the same Bridge Club for 55 years) antiquing, decorating, gardening, and cooking. She loved to talk and was often teased about being on the phone, yacking, all the time. She attended Presbyterian Church in Jerome teaching Sunday school and served as Deacon and Elder. After moving to Twin Falls, they started attending the Twin Falls Reformed Church. She also hosted a Bible Study in her home for 35 years.

She was a wonderful hostess, always inviting someone in for coffee. Pat loved to cook and was always baking something up and freezing it for later. She was a beautiful person and taught and led by example. Her loving, talking, goofy, and faithful soul will be missed by all who knew her. “Briefly in our arms, forever in our hearts.”

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Norm, her son Dan Carroll, and her daughter Conni Serr, her parents, 3 siblings, and one granddaughter (Stephanie). She is survived by her son Tim (Jill) Carroll; grandchildren, Kimber (Darwin) Dudley, Terice Grigg, Matthew (Jenna) Serr, David (Michelle) Serr, Paula (Seth) Murdock, Andrew Carroll, Jacob (Ruthann) Carroll and numerous great grandchildren.

There will be an informal celebration of life on Monday, September 25^th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at 886 Morning Sun Dr, Twin Falls, Idaho.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Mustard Seed, Twin Falls Animal Shelter, or Charity of your choice.
