P.; Eugene Messner

P. Eugene Messner, 83, of Twin Falls passed away on Friday January 11, 2013. He was born on March 7, 1929 in Kimberly, Idaho to Elmar and Lillian (Clements) Messner. Eugene grew up in Southern Idaho and worked as a farmer on the Salmon Tract. He married Erla Mae Messner on September 14, 1948 and to this union they had two children, Barbara Denise and Beverly Jean. He later married Sadie on March 1, 1986 and three step sons joined his family, Mike, Matt and Shawn. Eugene is preceded in death by his first wife Erla Mae Messner, one daughter Beverly Jean Messner, step son Matt Gardner and his parents. He is survived by one brother Dale Messner, one sister Lois Denny, his wife Sadie Messner; daughter Barbara Morrison, 3 grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Rosenau Funeral home, 2826 Addison Ave E, Twin Falls with a funeral service held at Rosenau Funeral Home on Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Dustin Godfrey and the staff at Rosenau Funeral Home.
