Oliver Ingram 85 of Kimberly, Idaho passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his home with his family at his side. Oliver was born October 19, 1927, in Spring Valley, Arkansas to Albert Jones Ingram and Annie Elizabeth Morsebach. He attended the Fishback School in Springdale, Arkansas and move to California with his family. At the age of 16, drove the family pickup alone, from Arkansas to California, working at odd jobs to get money for gas along the way. Oliver served two years in the Army and upon returning home, moved to Idaho and married Marie Drain of Jerome. They had three daughters, Sharon, and twins Paula and Penny. They were later divorced. Oliver farmed in the Jerome area and worked for United Automotive, Arnold Machinery, and Longview Fiber in Twin Falls. He then started his own forklift repair business, Oliver’s Lift Truck Maintenance. On retiring from mechanic work, he drove the employee bus for Cactus Pete’s for a year and a half, and then retired for good. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoying the local fishing and Sturgeon on the Columbia River in Oregon. He especially enjoyed hunting for Elk in the desert, and deer in the north and south hills. His big delight in the summer was growing a large garden, which he always wanted to plant in March. In 1962, Oliver married Joan Marie Dahlquist in Winnemucca, Nevada. They have one son Jeffrey Paul. He is survived by his wife Joan, son Jeff of Twin Falls, and daughters Paula (Rick) Gertulla, and Sharon (Darrell) Thrasher of Astoria, Oregon, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is also survived by two brothers, Bob and James (Charmaine) Ingram of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Penny and two brothers and five sisters. A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Sunday, April 14th at Rosenau Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 15th at Sunset Memorial Park.
