Norman James Nelson

Norman J. Nelson of Kimberly, Idaho passed away on August 2, 2016 in a car accident near Hazelton. He was born on June 24, 1035 in McGrath, Minnesota to Carl & Rose Nelson. Norman was raised in Minnesota and graduated in 1953. He was a medic in the Army for four years. Norman spent the last half of his life in Idaho. He had numerous jobs throughout his life, but his favorite was being a school bus driver. In his retirement he helped people through the Retirement Senior Volunteer Program. Norman chose to serve God at a young age and was faithful to that vow his whole life. He enjoyed golf cribbage, reading books and sports. Norman is preceded in death by his parents; wife Linda & baby; and 4 siblings. He is survived by Jon Nelson, Debbie kindred, Brenda (Richard) Clark, Jeff (Crissy) Nelson, Sharon Nelson, Sue Nelson, 8 grandchildren, 3 siblings and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 6, 2016 at 11am at Rosenau Funeral Home, 2826 Addison Ave E. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
