On January 13th 2022, the world lost a very tender soul.
Milan Bestulic was born on November 14th 1950 in Porec Croatia.
He lived there until 1968 when he made his journey to America. While enjoying the night life at a local disco in 1969, he met his soulmate and his wife of 50 years, Sandra.
Milan and Sandra were married April 15th 1971. They welcomed the birth of their oldest son on November 2nd 1972. In 1976, they made the journey to Croatia to join Milan's family and to continue growing their own family.
In 1977 they welcomed their youngest son. They enjoyed raising their family in the small village while Milan worked as a tractor driver and Sandra would care for the children. They enjoyed many years of entertaining family and friends while living the simple life on a farm in the village.
In 1999, When the Civil War became too much they decided to move their family back to the United States. Their youngest son stayed in Croatia as he was building his own family.
After spending 12 years on the east coast they decided to move west to Idaho. Their oldest son joined them in Idaho in 2013 where where he would be cared for by his mom and dad Until his passing in 2014.
Milan started working for Road Work Ahead in Twin Falls Idaho in 2013. He made many friends while working there many of whom he considered family. He loved working for such a great company and they loved that he was part of the RWA family. You could always count on Milan to help you if you needed help. Milan spent his very last breath at Road Work Ahead, which is where he loved to be.
Milan and Sandra were planning to return to Croatia in March of 2022. Sandra will be returning to Croatia with Milan and her oldest son's ashes so that they can be celebrated in Croatia by many friends and family.
Milan is survived by his wife Sandra and his son Dominik. He is also survived by their 3 grand children Martina, Anthony and Eugen.
Milan is preceded in death by his parents, his oldest son Danny and his brother Nino.
Milan had many friends whom he considered family, who will truly and deeply miss his conversations, his smiling face and his open arms.
There will be a wake for Milan on Thursday January 20, 2022 at 5pm. The services will be held at Rosenau Funeral Home. 2826 Addison Ave E, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
