Michael Roy Hennek was born on March 4, 1947, in Rawlins, Wyoming, and peacefully passed away on July 12, 2024, in Buhl, Idaho.

He is deeply missed by his loving wife, Martha Hennek, his children Michael (Randi) Hennek and Brandi (Casey) Olive, his beloved grandchildren Cassidy, Cheyenne, and Lane Olive, as well as Paige and Patrick Hennek. He is also leaves behind his brother Joe Hennek, his sister Kathy Hennek, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Michael is now reunited in peace with his parents, Harry and Betty Hennek, his sister Arleene Ray, and his brother David Hennek.

In May of 1975, Michael tied the knot with Martha, whom he affectionately called Mart, welcoming their son that same year and their daughter three years later.

Although he lived most of his life in Wyoming, Michael journeyed to different places, such as Texas and Hawaii, to enrich his life experiences. In 1986, he relocated his family to Arizona, where they resided until 2015, when he and Martha moved to Idaho to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

His diverse career included working on ranches, in mines, and at a sawmill in Wyoming, as well as serving as medical personnel in the Wyoming state prison. Additionally, he ran a truck stop with his wife and later pursued a role as an X-ray technician, which he held until his retirement.

An enthusiastic hunter, fisherman, and skilled pilot, Michael devoted his time to flying for the Civil Air Patrol in both Wyoming and Arizona. Despite his various accomplishments in life, being a devoted husband, father, and Paga brought him the greatest joy

Michael's final wish was to be cremated and return home to Wyoming, where his parents and siblings are buried. Details about memorial services will be shared at a later time.
