Maximilian Porter, best known as “Max”, passed away on January 5th, 2025 and peacefully went to his heavenly home. He is loved by many. Max was born July 15th, 1979, to Randall Porter, now deceased, and Shella Conant, of Nampa, Idaho. Max and Shella later moved to Boise, Idaho. As a precious toddler, Max was busy and fun! Shella reconnected with a former high school friend from Boise, Michael Rinard, and they were married. Max was blessed with many siblings: Michael & wife Jini’ Rinard, Greenbay, WI, Joshua & and wife Jemme’ Rinard, Battleground, WA, Michelle & husband Gary Heidemann, Twin Falls, ID, Zach & wife Marilla Rinard, Twin Falls, ID, Nephews and Nieces: Carter Rinard, Chance Rinard, & Caleb Rinard Olive Rinard & Gabrael Rinard Elizabeth Heidemann, Gary Heidemann III, & Edward Heidemann, Joel Rinard & Eloise Rinard, Max also had two brothers from Randall’s side: Andrew Porter & Adam Foxworthy, OR, As well as other family members: Connie Smith, Kathy & Colby Porter. Norman & Sheila Porter & family. Max graduated from High School and began working in the building industry. He had a natural gift and enjoyed building things. He often worked at his father’s lumberyard. His skills as a craftsman grew and he began building new homes and commercial buildings in the Twin Falls area. Max fell in love after meeting Katrina Amstutz at the church they both attended. They were married and from this union three beautiful children were born: A son, Jaron Porter “Amstutz’ Washburn” and wife Katelyn and two daughters, Jaylenn Porter “Conner” and husband Keagan Conner and Halee Porter “Amstutz ‘Washburn”. Max had one new granddaughter, born to Jaron & Katelyn Porter in November 2024, Dahlia Ray. Max loved being a father. He went to watch their sports activities and helped in coaching as they played. He beamed with pride over them. His time with them taught them many important, valuable lessons. He dearly loved them. Max’s life will always be remembered and cherished for his laughter, kindness, quick wit, and generosity to others.
