Mary Augusta Hicks

Mary A. Hicks Aug. 8, 1917-Feb. 9, 2015 TWIN FALLS • After 97 short years, Mary Augusta Hicks is where Jesus is now. She was born in Forsythe, Mont. She met her true love, Harry G. Hicks, in Helena, Mont., and eventually moved to Blackfoot, Idaho, where their only son, Ron, was born. In 1968, they moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, to operate Magic Valley Christian Supply, where Mary made many special and lasting friends. After Harry died in 1976, Mary continued the Christian Book Store until well into her 80’s. She is survived by her son, Ron (Denise); two grandsons, Jason (Diane) Hicks and Justin (Jaime) Hicks; four great-grandchildren, Arrya, Jayva, Lily and Brennan; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Twin Falls.
