Margrett "Margie" Anderson (Crowson) died of health complications at the Hospice Vision Hospice Home on April 25, 2018 in Jerome, ID at the age of 88.
Margie was born on October 7, 1929 in Gaylord, Kansas to Richard and Bessie (Mitchell) Crowson. She had seven sisters and one brother. She moved from Kansas to Twin Falls when she was seven years of age. Margie graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1947, and married Wayne L. Anderson in 1950. Margie was a stay-at-home mom for the first part of her family's life, but when they moved to Boise, she worked at Idaho Department Store for many years. When she and Wayne moved back to Twin Falls in 1974, she managed the clothing department at Idaho Department Store in Twin Falls and upon her retirement, helped Wayne manage the Maico A-1 Hearing Aid Center until his retirement in 2013.
Following his death, Margie returned to home life until she had to move to assisted living because of health issues.
Margie was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene and a member of the Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene upon her death. She taught Sunday Class, was a part of the bus ministry and was a faithful and active member of the Church of the Nazarene both in Boise and Twin Falls. She was also involved in the Bible Study Fellowship in Twin Falls. Margie belonged to the Red Hat Society in Twin Falls. Her faith was her life until her death.
Margie's hobbies include sewing, knitting, reading, and gardening-she loved roses. Most of all, she loved her children and her grandson and gave up much so they could find success.
Margie is survived by her son, Harold Anderson and his wife, Becky Hutcheson of Fort Morgan, CO, and her daughter, Karen Crider and her grandson David Crider of Twin Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by her sisters Edith (Edie) Johnson and her husband Leonard of Orangevale, CA, Agnes (Agie) Rieger and her husband Lloyd of Twin Falls, ID. Roberta (Bo) Mount of Mount Orb, OH, and Mary Francis (Fran) Wallace and her husband Jim of Roseville, CA. Margie was also survived by her niece Sherie Keyt and Her husband David of Twin Falls along with many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and their children.
Margie is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Bessie Crowson, her husband, Wayne L. Anderson, her son-in-law, Brian Crider, her sisters Nina Brugh, Doris Becerra, Mabel Taylor, and her brother, Harold Crowson.
A celebration of her life is scheduled for May 26, 2018 at the Twin Falls Church of the Nazarene in Twin Falls with a reception to follow. Pastor Dave Mowry will officiate the ceremony. The family would like to thank her many caretakers at Hospice Vision Hospice Home for the loving way they attended Margie's needs. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
