On December 18, 2011 the Lord called Margaret Call home to rest within His arms.
Born Margaret Lois Schrock on December 29, 1929 in Lagrange Indiana. She was one of 7 children born to Noah and Jennie Schrock. Raised Mennonite in the Indiana farmland she attended school with the Amish and then graduated from High School in Topeka, IN. In 1950 she met Ernest R. Hiebert and they married on August 23, 1951. They lived in Mountain Lake, Minnesota where Ernie farmed. Two of their children were born there, Jenny and Stuart. They later moved to Indiana where their last child was born, Jill. In 1963 they moved to Kansas where Ernie was in sales and Margaret continued to be a housewife and mother. She worked for a short time as a telephone operator in Harper, KS. Together they started a travel trailer manufacturing business where Marge was the bookkeeper. In 1975 they moved to Idaho where Ernie was a traveling manufacturing representative and Marge was his secretary and bookkeeper. In 1994 she became a widow after 43 years of marriage. 1996 she met and married the 2nd love of her life, Glen Call.
She loved to read and spent a good deal of each day doing just that. Puzzles and games were her forte and she always loved a good game show. In her younger years she was a fine seamstress and loved to crochet. She also loved to play the piano and organ and had a lovely alto voice. She was a hopeless romantic and her prince turned out to be Glen. He treated her like his queen and they had 15 happy years together. She loved the Lord all her life and shared him often with her grandchildren. Jeremiah 29:11 was her special verse and Psalms 23 was also one of her favorite scriptures.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Jennie, siblings; Franklin, Hazel, Orval, Grace and Lyle, (1st husband) Ernest Hiebert and son Stuart. She is survived by the family that loved her, husband Glen, sister, Beulah and daughter Jill (Tim) Carroll. Grandchildren; David (Sarah), Christopher (Pam), Paula (Seth), Andrew, Jake (Ruthann) and 4 great grandchildren.
A special thank you to all who cared and loved her at Bridgeview Estates, she made many friends there. Also thank you to Hospice Visions who helped her through her journey home.
