She was a loving wife and mother and was very proud of her two sons.
After their children were grown, Mabel and Gordon moved to Auburn, CA, where they built a mountaintop home that became the center of many joyous events. She treasured spending time in her beautiful home and gardens enjoying picturesque views of the Forest Hill Bridge. She more than anyone else brought her family together, and her holiday celebrations and dinner parties will remain some of the family's happiest and most special memories. Upon Gordon's declining health they returned to Twin Falls in 2004.
