Lyusya Ter-Simonyan, 81, of Twin Falls, died Saturday, September 15th, 2012, at St. Luke's Matic Valley Hospital. Lyusya was born December 29, 1930, in Baku, USSR. After graduating from high school, she attended vocational school and became a seamstress/fashion designer. Lyusya married Rachik on April 28, 1951, in Baku. In 1996, Lyusya and her husband immigrated to the Unted Sates and she became a citizen in 2006. They resided in Twin Falls until her death. She loved life and all of its pleasures. Her hobbies were dancing, singing, cooking, sewing, reading and taking care of all her grand and great grandchildren. Lyusya was a member of the Armenian Orthodox Church. She is survived by her three children, Zhasmen, Tamara, and Sergey; five grandchildren, Arman, Armine, Aram, Liyan and Elona; and five great grandchildren. Lyusya was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Rachik Ter-Simonyan. The funeral for Lyusya will be held at 1 pm Saturday, September 22, at Rosenau Funeral Home, with burial to follow at the Twin Falls Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 5 to 8 pm Friday, September 21, at the funeral home.
