Lynn Marie Widaman, age 70 passed away on November 5, 2021 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho due to complications caused by Covid-19. She was born August 9, 1951 in Bakersfield, California to her parents, Vernon Mears and Margaret Martin-Mears. on April 16, 1976, she was married in Carson City Nevada to Alan Widaman. Lynn received her Bachelors Degree at Cal State in Bakersfield, California and proceeded to Fresno State in Fresno, California where she completed and received her credentials toward becoming a teacher in the field of Special Education. In 1990, she and her husband, Alan moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where she taught Special Education at Sawtooth Elementary. Later she made a transition to teach at Robert Stuart Middle School, then to Twin Falls High School, and Canyon Ridge High School before eventually retiring in 2012. For 10 years, Lynn also fought a long and difficult battle caused by a chronic autoimmune disorder. She is Survived by her husband, Alan; daughters, Lori Neumann (Jeffery) of Kuna, Idaho; Shari Widaman of Boise, Idaho; son, Todd Widaman of Twin Falls, Idaho; Grandchildren, Sarah, Fehlig (Luke) and Zavius Widaman, Kimberly and Emily Neumann; sister, Ellen Ferguson of Bakersfield, California; and brother, Dwayne Mears of Irvine, California. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Vason Widaman. A celebration of life will be held on November 26, from 1-3 p.m. at the Widaman’s residence, located at 727 Rimview Ln. West Twin Falls, Idaho.
