Luree Ann Evans

Luree Ann Evans, 53 passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. Luree was born August 17, 1960 in Jerome, Idaho the daughter of Wilford and Carol Bush Allison. Luree graduated with honors from Jerome High School in 1978 and further went on to complete her Associates Degree through Boise State University in Accounting. On October 8, 1977, she married her high school sweetheart, Brent Neal Evans, in the town of Jerome where they resided until 2001. They then moved to Twin Falls in the house they continue to call home. In high school Luree worked at Paul’s market where she met her future husband, then went on to work for Jerome Gas and Oil, JFM Enterprises, and in 1994 finding her forever work family at Cooper Norman. Her passions consisted of softball as an amazing 2nd baseman for over 30 years, camping in the serenity of the mountains, along with the many get-togethers with family and friends. Luree was baptized in the First Christian Church and later attended the Presbyterian Church in Jerome. She was proud to compete nationally in DECA and volunteered with CASA as well as being a life time member for the Twin Falls Optimist Club, where she loved serving the youth of our community. Luree was captain of her Relay for Life team for several years, where she raised the highest amount of individual funds for her final Twin Falls Relay for Life event. Luree is survived by her loving husband, Brent Evans, her children Cami Evans and Chris (Sandy) Evans, her brothers Steve (Marilee) Allison, Ken (Chris) Allison, and her sister Deb (Les) Drake, two beloved grandchildren Lexi and Payton Johnson, her parents Wilford and Carol Allison along with many adored nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Amazing Grace Fellowship, 1061 Eastland Dr. N, Twin Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
