Linda Estelle Olson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our loving mother, Linda Estelle Olson on April 1, 2025, at the age of 81. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her family at home in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Linda was born on September 13, 1943, to parents Glenn E. Paul and Hazel F. Paul (Jolly) in Greeley, Colorado. Linda was the oldest sister to Donald Paul and Charla Bloom (Paul). Linda graduated in 1961 from Greeley Central High School. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where she met her husband, Keith Olson. They married August 31, 1963, at the First Methodist Church of Greeley Colorado. They were blessed with three children, Paula, Kirk, and Erica.

Many of their early years of marriage were spent traveling the world. Upon Keith’s retirement the two settled in The Magic Valley, Idaho. Since the passing of her husband Keith in March 2021, she continued to remain active in her community. She found much joy in spending time with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by: Father and Mother, Glenn and Hazel Paul, and her beloved husband, Keith Olson.

Her siblings Donald Paul and Charla Bloom (Paul).

Her children (spouse): Paula Barreras (Mitch), Kirk Olson (Leanna), and Erica Sommer (Bryan).

Her many grandchildren: Trevan Hiersche (Amanda), Courtney Beams, Ciarra Barreras (Sonya), Ashley Barreras, Scott Barreras, Chloe Falk (Devon), Amy Sommer, Landon Sommer, Ashlynne Sommer.

And Great-grandchildren: Rilyn, Charlie, Molly, Jhett, Kairi, Adae, Om, Thalia, Emerald, and Hattie.
