Kimberly Kay Crowley - McCabe

July 21, 1963 — June 22, 2018

An amazing and beautiful mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, grandma and dear friend flew up to heaven on the wings of angels on June 22, 2018. Our mama Kimberly Kay Crowley – McCabe was born in Nebraska city, Nebraska on July 21, 1963 to Janice Christiansen and Lonnie Crowley. Mom grew up and was raised in Nebraska City where she attended school in Otto County in one of the last one room country school houses. In 1974 her family moved to Rupert, Idaho until 1976 when they went back to Nebraska. In 1980 she met Norman (Corky) Vanderkuur. From this union she had her first daughter Tyra Colleen Crowley-Jaramllo. She returned Idaho that same year and this is where she stayed for the remainder of her life. In 1981 she met Don Patterson and they spent 14 years together and had her second daughter Patricia Marie Patterson in May of 1985. Mom worked at Idaho Frozen Foods and Gem State Linen for many years. She was also a caretaker, but then found her passion in sales where she traveled to state fairs and home and garden shows. Mom spent most of her life caring for others and raising her grandchildren. She had an extreme love for kids and welcomed anyone into her home. She was a NaNa and mom to many. Mom enjoyed swimming, camping, riding four wheelers and jet skis, fishing, BBQ's and anything really outdoors all of which she did in her flip-flops. Most of all mom loved spending time with family and going to yard sales with her mom and dad. She loved angels and often spoke about God. Mom was a real jokester and loved to pull pranks and make people laugh. She loved to explore and to take pictures. She enjoyed bright colors and loved making herself and her home beautiful. Mom was full of life and her favorite saying was Live, Laugh, and Love. She also loved flowers, especially sunflowers, roses and petunias. She is survived by her parents Janice and Lonnie Crowley, her husband Darrell McCabe her two beautiful daughters Tyra Lupe Jaramillo and Tricia Marie Patterson both of Twin Falls. She is also survived by her brothers Herb and Jackie Crowley of Rupert, Stan Crowley and wife Mary Bird of Twin Falls, her sister Teresa Overlin(Robert) of Twin Falls, her sister-in-law's Gail, and Debbie of Twin Falls, aunts Pat and Jackie, uncle Arnie and Bunky her seven grandkids, two of whom she raised Caleb and Isaac, her 17 great grandkids which includes her newest pride and joy and little Randy. She was also survived by an adopted aunt Judy who she shared a birthday with and spoiled her rotten. She's also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a ton of great friends including Tim Hill whom she spent many years with. She's preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Gertrude and Arnold Christiansen, her paternal grandparents Herbert and May Crowley, her mother in law Melba, her older brother Randy Crowley Sr, her sisters-in-law Carol and Kay, her uncle Paul and uncle Don, her aunt Saun, and her dear younger cousin Britney Straw.
