Kenneth Ray Robbins, 75, a beloved resident of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer, surrounded by family.
Ken was born on March 18, 1949, in Wendell, ID, to David and Edna Robbins. He grew up on the family homestead in Bliss, ID, and graduated from Bliss High School in 1967, where he excelled as a talented basketball player.
After high school, Ken served honorably in the Army National Guard for four years, earning the prestigious title of "Distinguished Soldier of the Year" in 1972. On July 3, 1974, Ken married the love of his life, Patricia Rae (Heughins) Robbins. Together, they built a life filled with love, raising four children—Becki, Dan, Tami, and Kate—in Gooding, ID.
Ken worked as a lineman for Idaho Power for 31 years, dedicating himself to his career and community. An avid outdoorsman, Ken cherished fishing, snowmobiling, and camping with his family. After retirement, he enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and creating lasting memories with his loved ones.
Ken’s faith was central to his life. A devoted Christian, he found great joy in daily scripture readings and sharing his beliefs with others. He attended and loved his church family at Magic Valley Bible Church, in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Ken is survived by his wife, Patty Robbins of Twin Falls, ID; his mother, Edna (Robbins) Burton of Gooding, ID; his brother, Bruce Robbins (Sue) of Fairfield, ID; his children, Becki Stahlecker (Mike) of Twin Falls, ID, Dan Robbins (Carrie) of Montrose, CO, Tami Conrad (Brandon) of Twin Falls, ID, and Kate Lopez of Edmond, OK; 11 grandchildren (Jennifer, Lexie, Kimberli, Ashley, Dylan, Bailee, Kaylah, Kolton, Megan, Julien, and Cassie); and five great-grandchildren, with one more on the way in June. He was preceded in death by his father, David; his brother, Jimmy; his grandparents and his grandson, Kaleb Reid Conrad.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Visions Hospice for their exceptional care during Ken’s final days.
