Judith Ann Stacy

August 1, 1938 — March 13, 2023

Our dear, sweet, loving mom, Judith Stacy, passed away on March 13th, 2023 in Idaho.

She was born in California on August 1st, 1938 to Gerald & Margaret Fagan.  Judy grew up in Southern California, Her mom was widowed when Judy was 6 years old.  She was very close to her mom and her grandma and spent a lot of time at the beaches, riding horses when she could and having a great childhood.   She graduated from Mira Costa High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Wendell “Buck” Stacy.  They married during their senior year by eloping to Las Vegas.

Judy was loved in all the communities she has lived in, most notably in Leona Valley & Tehachapi California and Melba & Murphy Idaho. Her contagious smile and great personality made her many life long friends.   She was a member of many clubs and organizations over the years.  AV Four Wheelers, Leona Valley Women’s Club, Palmdale & Tehachapi square dancing clubs, the Sage Hens In Owyhee County, Catholic Churches where they lived and also she was very active in 4-H with her kids in Leona Valley.   She was a very supportive mom and friend to all who met her.   She was an avid dog lover all her life and always had dogs as her close companions.   She even watched pets in Murphy, Idaho as “Grandma’s Pawsitively Wonderful Doggie Day Care”.   She took care of her family and helped make so many wonderful memories while camping, traveling, jeeping and just being a fabulous mom and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents & grandparents; her loving husband and best friend, Buck; her brother Tom; her daughter-in-law Pam and lots of close long-time friends that were always more like family.   She always said “Friends are the family you pick yourself”.  She truly believed that!

She is survived by her oldest brother Jerry; her son Robert (Bonnie) Stacy from Burley Idaho; her daughter Janine (John) Bailey, from Collbran, Colorado; her son Scott (Pam) Stacy from Tehachapi, CA; her 3 grand daughters, Becki (Randy) Marconi, Meghann Stacy & Dakota Stacy, all from Idaho; her 3 great-grand daughters, Emerald, Lila & Victoria Marconi; her sweet fur babies that will miss their mama so very much, Miss Murphy & Jake; her relatives, sisters-in-law and also numerous nieces and nephews.
