Josephine Hernandez, 94 of Burley passed away, July 29, 2016 at home with family and friends at her side. She was born March 30, 1922 to Manuel and Bernadina (Nina) Rivera in Texas. She was the youngest of 12. She married Juan Hernandez on July 13, 1941. She is survived by six children, Janie (Ron) Bresher, Mary (Jim) Martinez, George (Luisa) Hernandez, Helen (Matthew) Bill, Mike (Lilia) Hernandez and Andrea (Miguel) Padron; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 grandsons and 2 great grandsons. Viewing will be held 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 2nd at Truth Tabernacle, 2459 Hiland in Burley. Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, August 3rd at the church with Pastor Juan Padron officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rosenau Funeral Home.
