Johnny Albert Ulrich of Twin Falls, awesome daddy and grandfather, loving brother, faithful friend, and devoted husband, died peacefully at his home on January 23rd, 2022, at the age of 81. John was born to May and Wesley Ulrich on January 4th, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, MO. He graduated from Twin Falls High in 1959 where he was a super-stud athlete. While working at the flour mill, Johnny quickly fell for a beautiful young waitress and soon-to-be wife, Wanda, who worked at the Depot Grill next door. They were happily married for 55 years. After their wedding in 1962, they had 3 children, Connie Thomas of Las Vegas, Michael Ulrich of Meridian, and Nancy Lee of Twin Falls. Together they had 7 grandkids and 6 great grandchildren. For over 30 years, John worked as a Farmer’s Insurance agent. John was a faithful life-long member of the Twin Falls Church of Christ where his humor, gift for gab, & giving spirit were legendary. He was uniquely gifted in the fine art of gum chewing and garage sale negotiation, especially when collecting clocks and unwanted toys. John was an enthusiastically devoted collector of Hot Wheels. He is survived by his brothers, Jean of Bellingham and Jay of Lewiston and his 3 faithful canine companions, Mandy, Gracie, and Suzie. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, parents, and 6 siblings, Wesley Jr, Wanda, Jim, Jerry, Joe, and one grandchild, Declin, and his favorite pomeranian Mr. B. In the immortal words of John, “Life is GOOD!” John's memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday Feb. 5th at Rosenau Funeral Home in Twin Falls with a viewing on Friday Feb. 4th from 4 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Donations to the following charities in lieu of flowers would make John happy: Magic Valley Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
