Jim Lee Knight

Jim L. Knight, age 84, passed away April 2, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born on Dec 5, 1939 in Carthage, Missouri to Evan and Lorene Knight. He grew up in Shoshone, Idaho where he met the love of his life, Carlene Modlin. They were married in September 1958 and had three children, Arlen, Jeff and Janine. Jim worked in the propane business until he retired. Jim and his family spent many weekends at the family cabin in Pine, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister (Joan Scott) and son (Jeff). He is survived by his wife Carlene, his children Arlen Knight and Janine Brown, his grandchildren Samantha Vickery, Jeff Knight, Jameson Brown, and Troy Brown, and four great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Joe Ipolito and nurse Cindy Anton for the wonderful care they provided.

At the wishes of Jim there will be no memorial service.
