Jeffrey Warner Clysdale was born to Jack and Mary Clysdale on October 20, 1961 in Long Beach, CA. He was educated in Long Beach and graduated from Millikan High School in 1979. After spending summers on his grandparent's farm in Lava Hot Springs, he grew to love Idaho and moved here his early 20's. He found his niche working for Eureka Construction and Intermountain Gas Co., dedicating over 31 years of work in the utility construction industry. He truly loved his job and his family at IGC.
He met the love of his life and soul mate, Kay Thaete, proposed to her at a Steve Miller concert in Sept. 1997, and they were married on February 21, 1998. Together they enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, their fur-kids Trooper and Abby, spending time with friends and family, and the simple, quiet time in the yard or on the deck.
Jeff loved the many lifelong friendships he made thru his love of sports, hunting & fishing, camping, trap shooting, and DU events. His kind soul will be remembered by many.
He was greeted in heaven by his father Jack and in laws, Willard and Betty as well as his grandparents. Those left loving him include his wife, Kay, his Mother, Mary, siblings Bridget & Ted Zinger, Kelly & Kelly Kumashiro, and Pat & Sonia Clysdale; in laws, Janelle & Don Canine, Lonn & Mary Thaete, Steve Thaete, and Bruce & Penny Thaete; special niece Dani & Jason; god children Seth and Maddie; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and multitudes of faithful friends. Special thanks to Dr. P and the caring nurses and staff at MSTI for their loving care.
Jeff's funeral will be held at 3pm, Monday, July 3rd at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2055 Filer Ave. E., Twin Falls, followed by a friends and family picnic beginning at 5pm @ Centennial Park.
