Jeanette L. Schiermeier

Jeanette Louise Schiermeier, 93 of Twin Falls passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 in McCall, ID. Jeanette was born March 18, 1918 in Belleville, IL the daughter of Edward and Rose Mary (Bahl) Drone. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Belleville, IL in 1935. After graduation she worked for the Civil Service in East St. Louis, IL. for 3 years. On February 6, 1941 she married Theodore L. Schiermeier in Belleville, IL at St. Mary’s Church. Jeanette was a member of St. Edward’s Church. She participated in the Ladies Sodality and volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul Center and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Ron) Kienzle of Cincinnati, OH, 3 sons, Thomas (Farla) Schiermeier of Twin Falls, ID, Richard (Mary) Schiermeier of McCall, ID, Donald (Kristi) Schiermeier of Bruneau, ID ; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore L. Schiermeier, four brothers and three sisters. She was the last remaining child of Edward and Rose Drone. The family suggests memorials be made to LaPosada, Inc., P.O. Box 1962, Twin Falls, ID 83301. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10. 2012 at St. Edward’s the Confessor Catholic Church with Father Mariusz Majewski officiating. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday March 9th at Rosenau Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Jim Herrett conducting.
