Jared Lee Gifford, age 25, was whisked away from us too soon by the Valkyries to Valhalla on Monday, April 10 in Twin Falls, Id at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by family and friends who deeply loved and cared for him. He was born to Nicki Gifford-Sparks (Shoup), raised by Bill Sparks, and tenaciously endured a childhood with 3 sisters (Jennifer, Amber, & Paige). Jared loved working on cars. His hobby grew from collecting and playing with hot wheels as a child, to tinkering and rebuilding the family car as a young man. He always wanted to be a strong, hardworking mechanic just like his Gramps, who he profoundly loved and greatly respected. He was a diligent worker that had the ability to go above and beyond what was expected of him. He was a person that always wanted to make new friends with people from all walks of life. Jared is survived by his two young daughters Sophia and Aspen. He will always be in our hearts and remembered as an affectionate father, loving son, mischievous brother, beloved grandson, rascally nephew and caring friend. Since Jared had a great dislike for funerals, his Here-After Party will be held on Saturday, April 15th at the Oasis Christian Fellowship 310 E 6th St in Shoshone, ID. Doors Will Open 1:30, Gig starts at 2pm. We would love for everyone to come and share their memories of him and celebrate his life! We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the staff of St. Luke's Hospital, specifically the ICU, and Intermountain Donor Services for their attentiveness and loving care.
