On April 4, 2024, Our Angel, Janice Crowley was called home to join the Lord. She was born to Jack and Gertie Christiansen in Nebraska City, Nebraska on October 18, 1941. Janice was lovingly referred to as mother (mom) by her surviving children Herb(Jackie), Tereasa (Robert), and Stan(Mary). Janice married Lonnie Crowley on March 31, 1957. This union produced five children and a lifetime friendship. Their five children blessed them with 21 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
Janice spent her life loving, caring for, and raising her children; and any other children who needed someone to love and provide for them. She was an angel to all who knew her. Our hearts are broken, and we will forever feel a loss. We are grateful and blessed because she loved us through our faults, failures, and triumphs. She was a safe place for all in need. She spent her life caring for everyone. She was always a listening ear, a warm bed, a hot meal, and a genuine reflection of love, kindness, and support.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Gertie, Lonnie Crowley, her son Randy Crowley Sr, her daughter Kim McCabe, brother Paul, sister Sandra, her grandson Arron, and great grandson Gunner.
The family would like to thank Dr. Daryl Ficklin for his exceptional care of our mother, his nurse, Kelly, and Visions Home Health Hospice with special thanks to Vision home health aides Tanya and Kimberley. We would also like to share our appreciation for Dr. Allen with St Lukes radiology.
