James Raymond Miller ( J.R.) age 71 passed away on Thursday, June 27th at his home with his family around him. He was born on November 11, 1941 in Mt. Clemens Michigan to Patricia Margaret Londrow and Stewart James Miller. A son, husband, father, brother and friend. He will be missed and remembered forever. J.R. started out on his own at a very young age and lived in various places throughout the United States. He moved to Twin Falls in 1967 where he settled and started his own automotive business ( J.R. Miller's Automotive) in 1969 and is still operating to this day. He was a self-taught mechanic with a strong work ethic. He loved his work and took great pride in his accomplishments. He worked in many places as a mechanic and had many adventures, including working on Elvis Presley's car in 1959. J.R. loved to repair cars but also loved to race them. He built his own race cars and took home several trophies. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time hunting, fishing and camping. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife Laura Miller, daughter Cindy Jimenez, son Tim Miller, daughter Sheila Hawk, son Tim Miller Jr, daughter Starla Schumacher, daughter Debbie Miller, son Bert Miller, son Paul Miller, sister Darlene Meier, brother Bill Miller, and brother Robin Brady. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, 11am at Rosenau Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
