Harold Wesley Rodgers

April 7, 1949 — April 15, 2025

Harold Wesley Rodgers, age 76, of Twin Falls, Idaho, was welcomed into the arms of our Savior on April 15, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Born on April 7, 1949, in Bakersfield, California, he was the cherished son of the late William “Alva” Sr. and Tracey Pearl Rodgers.

Harold was a radiant light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion, and steadfast faith. His passing has left a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and countless others whose lives he touched. His infectious smile, hearty laughter, and deep-rooted faith in Jesus will be warmly remembered by his family and friends.

Harold surrendered his life to the Lord on August 8, 1979, and quickly began serving in ministry. He led the church bus route, became a preacher, and ultimately a pastor, driven by a deep burden for the lost. He was privileged to lead countless souls to Christ, serving as a true inspiration in bringing glory and honor to the kingdom of God.

A passionate musician, Harold used his incredible talents to honor the Lord in worship. A self-taught guitarist and drummer, he played a variety of instruments, and his soulful, powerful voice captivated all who heard him. The memories of his music, whether in church or family gatherings, will forever resonate in our hearts. In addition to his musical talents, Harold was an incredibly gifted artist and could draw just about anything. Harold found joy in coaching football, riding his bike, and tending to his garden.

Harold was preceded in death by his siblings William Alva Rodgers Jr., Betty Lois Rodgers, Leroy Buddy Rodgers, Donna June Hogg, Paula Sue Worsham, as well as his beloved grandson, Brian Joseph Wilkerson.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Pat Rodgers; his brother Bobby Rodgers (Pamela); and five loving children: Kellie Benham (Shannon), Harold Bacich (Tami), Stacey Flores (Victor), Ritha Bates (Jason), and Thalynn Pratt (Brian). Harold was a proud grandfather—known affectionately as Grandpa, Papa, and Papa Bird—leaving behind twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, with one more on the way. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

Although Harold’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his memory will continue to inspire and uplift us. His legacy instilled character traits, talents, hobbies, and skills but most importantly a legacy of faith. Above all, Harold’s greatest desire was for his loved ones to make Heaven their home one day.

A Celebration of Life honoring Harold Wesley Rodgers will be held on May 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Full Life Family Church, 189 Locust St. N, Twin Falls, ID 83301. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate the remarkable life and legacy of a truly inspirational man.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct they paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
