Hailey Rose Hoggarth

October 27, 1996 — June 26, 2016

Hailey Rose Hoggarth, 19, of Twin Falls, passed away at home with her family by her side on Sunday, June 26, 2016. Hailey was born in Burley, Idaho to Tony and Sara Hoggarth on October 27, 1996. While she was still an infant the family moved to the Twin Falls area. Here Hailey was joined by her younger brothers, Casey and Samuel. Hailey attended kindergarten at Hilltop Christian, elementary at Immanuel Lutheran School, and middle school at O’Leary Middle School. It was during these years that she discovered her love of sports, especially the weekend traveling and the time spent with her friends that came with it. Hunting, fishing, and camping with her family were also a big part of her life, as was spending time with her great aunt and uncle, Larry and Phyllis, at their farm in Aberdeen. She especially loved when she was able to go to North Dakota during the summers and spend time with her grandparents and cousins. Hailey spent her high school years at Twin Falls High School, graduating in 2015. It was during this time she was first diagnosed with cancer, and the entire Twin Falls community rallied around her for support. Despite rigorous treatments, Hailey continued to live her life fully, not wanting to be defined by the disease. She continued to play sports when she could, and she never passed up a hunting or fishing trip with her dad. During this time and after high school, Hailey had been given the opportunity to do some unique travelling. She completely enjoyed these travels and the memories they made, but she was absolutely happiest when she was at home watching her brothers play baseball or helping her family host their backyard BBQs and holiday gatherings. She loved spending time with her family and their circle of friends. Over the past couple of years she worked at the Immanuel Lutheran Daycare, CPR, and Magic Valley Veterinary Hospital. These places and their staffs were very special to her. Hailey is survived by her parents Tony and Sara and brothers Casey and Samuel, all of Twin Falls; Grandparents Roger and Diane Hoggarth of Bismarck, North Dakota and Herman and Linda Johnson of Glenfield, North Dakota; Aunt Sonda (Nick) Mayer of La Canada Flintridge, California, Uncles Monte (Tonia) Hoggarth of Jamestown, North Dakota, and Keith (Amy) Johnson of Glenfield, North Dakota; Cousins Thomas and Samantha Mayer, Austin and Brady Hoggarth, and Jacob, Josie and Kylie Johnson. Services for Hailey will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 2nd at the Twin Falls Reformed Church with Pastor Chuck Swoboda officiating. Hailey will always be remembered as an extremely kind hearted, empathetic, beautiful soul. She wanted others to be helped the way she and her family had been helped over the years. Memorials and donations should be directed to the Hailey Hoggarth Children’s Cancer Fund at DL Evans Bank. Per her wishes, this fund will be used to help families in the Magic Valley who have a child with a cancer diagnosis. Family and friends are encouraged to share their memories of Hailey at www.rosenaufuneralhome.com
